Observations on watching the grammys

While watching Kelly Clarkson in that ugly red dress:

Him: [speaking to tv] Do you have a nose thing? Ewww!
Me: You don't like nose rings?
Him: No.
Me: What about me? [pointing to labrette]
Him: It's different. It's you. You came with it. I never notice it.
Me: Oh.
Him: It's like a hood ornament.
