The very first story I ever 'wrote' (dictated to my Dad when I was four). I'm not sure if the spelling mistakes are my Dads or if they were his attempt to accurately reflect my pronunciation. Hope you enjoy!

Once upon a time, a big, black bear ate a frog and turned into a beautiful princess. And then he had a sneaker on one foot for a turnaround. And then he had a shoe on his left hand, then he had a pen in his hand for he could write down a poster. Then he had to blow his nose. He had a stomach ache and then he take the other hand and picks up a glass of water. Now he swims to his uncle bear so he can give him his present for his birthday. Then he saw a beautiful princess puppy dog, and he kissed the puppy dog for so he could call the police cause he was stuck in the tree, the dog. And he thought the puppy dog was biting the cat to pieces. Then he wanted to go after the puppy dog was safe from the police, so he took the police and the puppy dog to a movie. And the cat didn't have any manner to go to the movies. And he goed to jail. Moooo! Then he write another poster and he smelled the flowers and a bee stung him. And he had a dog named Myrtle. Now he smelled thit (cat shit). And the moose bitted the tail of the kitties tail and he didn't mean to bite the tail right off. In the beautiful princess kissed the ear in the hair in the moustache. And so he can't read the princess so he read a book to the doggy. And the beautiful show did a dot for cheer and the horse ate the bear with his teeth.
